# A page for every heatmap

Crypto, stock and forex heatmaps now live on pages of their own, so you can send someone straight to the market you are watching and hop between markets in a single tap. On forex you also choose the period you compare, anywhere from one day to five years.

## One address per market

The heatmap used to be a single page that remembered which market you last looked at. Now each market has its own address:

| Market | Address |
| ---------- | ------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Crypto** | [i88.io/heatmap/crypto](https://i88.io/heatmap/crypto) |
| **Stock** | [i88.io/heatmap/stock](https://i88.io/heatmap/stock) |
| **Forex** | [i88.io/heatmap/forex](https://i88.io/heatmap/forex) |

What that changes in practice:

* **A link goes where you meant it to.** Send a colleague the forex map and they land on the forex map, not on whichever market they happened to open last.
* **Switching stays instant.** The three tabs beside the page title still swap markets in one tap, and your display choices — logos and tile titles — carry across with you.
* **Shared links look right.** Each market now has its own title, description and preview image, so a link posted in a chat or found in search shows the market it actually opens.
* **The page appears immediately.** The layout is drawn while the data is still on its way, instead of leaving you with an empty screen.

Old `/heatmap` links keep working — they land on the crypto map.

## Choosing a period on forex

The forex heatmap gains a period selector along the bottom of the map: **1D**, **1W**, **1M**, **3M**, **6M**, **1Y** and **5Y**. Pick one and the colours re-read the same pairs over that horizon — a currency that looks flat on the day can be firmly red across the quarter.

On a narrow screen, or when the widget is squeezed down on a dashboard, the row of periods folds into a badge in the toolbar above the map so the tiles keep the room they need.

<Note>The period applies to the forex map. Crypto and stock maps continue to colour by the change over the selected metric.</Note>

## A clearer label on AI summaries

Where a summary is written by i88 rather than by a newsroom, it now says so. The **Summarized by i88** note under the sources of a news story carries a sparkle icon and a hint explaining that the text draws on several sources covering the same story.
