# Exchanges widget

> Trading hours, open status and closed days for stock exchanges, and volume, listings and trust scores for centralised and decentralised crypto venues.

Lists the venues where the market trades. For stock exchanges it answers *is it open, and when does it trade* — in your time zone and in the exchange's own. For crypto venues it compares how much they trade, what they list and how far they can be trusted.

On the **Main** dashboard the widget fills the last column, so the whole list sits at the end of your workspace. You can also add it to any dashboard tab from **Set Up → Add**. See [Adding & configuring widgets](/dashboard/widgets) for how to place, configure and update widgets.

## Filters

* **Market** — **Stock** or **Crypto**. Each market has its own set of columns.
* **Venue** — on **Crypto**, switch between centralised exchanges (**CEX**) and decentralised ones (**DEX**).
* **Time zone** — the time zone the market hours are shown in. The column header names the zone you picked.

The list is split into pages; the controls under the table move between them. The number of rows on a page follows the height of the widget, so a taller widget shows more exchanges at once.

## Stock exchanges

| Column | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Exchange** | The exchange's name |
| **Market hours** | Trading hours in the time zone you picked |
| **Is Open** | Whether the exchange is trading right now |
| **Next closed day** | The next weekday the exchange does not trade, such as a public holiday |
| **MH — Exchange timezone** | Trading hours in the exchange's own time zone |

Where an exchange trades in two sessions with a break in between, both sessions are shown.

## Crypto exchanges

| Column | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Exchange** | The venue's name |
| **Volume, 24h** / **Vol norm, 24h** | Trading volume over the last 24 hours, as reported and normalised |
| **Coins** / **Pairs** | How many coins and trading pairs it lists — centralised venues only |
| **Country** | Where the venue is based — centralised venues only |
| **Launched** | The year it started |
| **Incentive** | Whether it offers incentives for trading on it |
| **Rank** | Its position in the venue ranking |
| **Trust score** | A rating of how far its reported activity can be relied on |

<Tip>Normalised volume discounts activity that looks inflated, so it is the fairer way to compare two venues of different sizes.</Tip>
