Ask AI arrives on desktop: open it from the dock, from any widget header or from an explained term, and ask about prices, moves and news with the page you are on as context. Financial terms across the platform now explain themselves when you hover them, screener columns can be resized, and Insider Trading is back on stock pages. A new Exchanges widget closes the Main dashboard with trading hours for stock exchanges and activity on crypto venues.

Ask AI

Ask AI is an assistant built into the platform, and it starts from wherever you already are. The full guide is on the Ask AI page; in short:
  • Three ways in. The Ask AI icon in the toolbar, next to Search, opens a panel in the same dock. The Ask AI icon in a widget’s header opens it with that widget attached. And the Ask AI button in a term’s explanation opens it with the term attached.
  • The page is the context. Every question carries the dashboard, ticker or screen you are on, so “why is this down today?” means the ticker in front of you. A switch in the + menu turns that off for a general question.
  • Attach exactly what you mean. Type / to drop a ticker into your question, or use the pointer button to pick any chart, widget, section, table or filter on the page — up to five per question. Each attachment carries its state at the moment you picked it.
  • See how the answer was built. While it works, the panel shows each lookup of market data as it runs, and Sources under the answer link back to the ticker pages and articles it drew on.
  • Chats are kept. Conversations are saved to your account; find an old one by searching, pin the ones you come back to, and delete the rest.
Sending a question needs you to be signed in. Ask AI is desktop-only for now — on phones and tablets it is marked Soon, as is uploading documents or images.

Terms that explain themselves

The small i icons scattered across widgets are gone. Financial terms now carry a dotted underline instead — hover one for a short, plain-language definition right where the number is. It covers around thirty widgets: valuation ratios such as P/E and EPS, price targets and analyst ratings, margins and returns, macro series such as inflation, the Fed funds rate, GDP, payrolls and unemployment, crypto gauges such as Fear & Greed, altcoin season and dominance, mempool congestion and fees, technicals, as well as table cells and chart legends. Each explanation has an Ask AI button for when the definition raises a question of its own.

A new foundation for tables

Every table on the platform now runs on one new table engine, so they look and behave the same way and stay quick with long lists.
  • Resizable columns in the screener. Drag the edge of a column header to set its width; widths are remembered per screen along with your column choice and order. See Screener.
  • Same table everywhere. Widget tables move to the same engine — dividends, top peers, technicals, performance, top indices, exchanges, country allocation, altcoin season and the mempool explorer among them.

Insider Trading is back

The Insider Trading section on stock ticker pages was hidden in 1.17.0 because its list reached back with no limit. It returns with this release, now showing the latest insider trades from live data, with All reports opening the full list in a window that scrolls properly.

Exchanges on the Main dashboard

A new Exchanges widget now closes the Main dashboard: the last column is given over to it from top to bottom.
  • Stock exchanges — market hours in your chosen time zone and in the exchange’s own, whether it is open right now, and its next closed day. Exchanges that trade in two sessions show both.
  • Crypto exchanges — switch between centralised (CEX) and decentralised (DEX) venues to compare 24-hour volume, reported and normalised, listings, launch year, incentives, rank and trust score.
  • Sized to fit. The list is paged, and a page holds as many rows as the widget’s height allows.
You can add the widget to any other dashboard from Set Up → Add.
If you have already arranged your Main dashboard, it stays as you left it — add Exchanges from Set Up → Add, or reset the dashboard to pick up the new layout.

Smaller things

  • Seasonals you can read year by year. Each year is a coloured chip: click to hide or show that year’s line, hover to pick it out of the bundle, and Show all years brings them all back. Choosing a year outside the current range extends the range to include it.
  • Price Target labels no longer collide, and hovering a label brings its line forward.
  • The price line shows direction. On the ticker price chart, the price line, its axis label and the tooltip price turn green above the previous close and red at or below it.
  • Tooltips switch instantly. Once one tooltip is showing in the side menu or the chart toolbar, moving to its neighbour opens the next one without the usual delay.
  • The ticker page column scrolls again on medium-width screens.
  • Search remembers its place. Closing and reopening the search panel could leave the result list empty; it now comes back where you left it.
  • Dashboards stay put. Loading a dashboard no longer saves it again just because widgets settled into their height.
  • The sign-in window fades in and out again, as it did before.
