A live view of the Bitcoin mempool
The Bitcoin Mempool page at i88.io/bitcoin/mempool now follows the network as it happens.- Mempool blocks. A strip across the top of the page shows the latest mined blocks, each with its mining pool, size, number of transactions, median fee and fee range, and continues with the blocks projected from the current mempool, marked with when they are expected, such as in ~10 min. Flip blocks swaps the two sides, and the strip refreshes every 30 seconds.
- Network Congestion. The average block time over the current difficulty epoch, the number of unconfirmed transactions and how much of the mempool’s memory is in use, against its limit.
- Transaction Inflow. A chart of how fast new transactions arrive, in vB/s, set against a dashed Network Capacity line: when incoming volume stays above it, the mempool grows and fees go up.
Watchlist and Ask AI on your phone
Watchlist and Ask AI are no longer marked Soon in the mobile menu. Open the menu and tap either one under Discovery: it fills the screen, and the back arrow in its header returns you to the menu. Tickers and columns cannot be dragged in the watchlist on a phone, so press and hold a ticker for its menu instead; in Ask AI, attaching an element of the page stays a desktop feature. On the screener and the heatmap, the market tabs now sit in the bar at the bottom of the screen, next to a Screener or Heatmap button that lists the same markets; the screener’s also has Share link. Sheets that open from the bottom of the screen end with Cancel, a sheet opened from another one keeps its back arrow, and long dashboard names get a second line in their tabs before they are cut short.A column menu in the screener and Exchanges
Click a column header in the screener, right-click it or press Enter on it to open the column’s menu. Sort the column with options worded for its data, such as Sort high to low or Sort A to Z, pin it to the left or right on desktop, move it one place, autosize it or hide it, and in the screener filter it with the same filter as its chip. Choose columns… and Reset columns are there too: Reset brings back the default columns, order and widths, and keeps your filters and sorting. On a phone the menu opens as a sheet from the bottom of the screen. Choose columns groups the screener’s columns by section, such as Price or Dividends, and on a phone splits into In table and All columns tabs. The columns you pin are remembered with the rest of your column layout. The Exchanges widget gets the same menu and sorts by its columns: click the sort arrow in a header, or hold Shift, Ctrl or ⌘ while you click another header to sort by several columns at once. It remembers its sorting and columns separately for centralised, decentralised and stock exchanges, and keeps the table on screen while it updates. Sorting has its own arrow in the column header. In every table it now points up for ascending and down for descending, and on a column you have not sorted by it appears when you point at the header. Column headers and values fit their default widths.More ways into a watchlist
On desktop, tickers can now be dragged into a watchlist from the ticker chips of news stories, both in the news list and in an open story, from blog posts and Ask AI answers, from the rows of ticker search, from Top peers rows and from the logo at the top of a ticker page. The tickers in blog posts, in Ask AI answers and the ticker page logo also open the right-click menu with Add to watchlist and Tags. Signed in, you can also drag a ticker from a watchlist someone shared with you into one of your own lists to copy it there.- Rows and columns. Each watchlist row keeps a single button that opens the ticker page; Remove from watchlist stays in the row’s right-click menu. Every column can be resized, not only Symbol.
- Price list. Rows of the Price list no longer shift when you hover them, and their drag handle has a place of its own to the left of the logo.
- The ticker overview. In the … menu, Appearance shows a preview and a short description of each widget when you hover its name, and Explorer has a search field that highlights the widgets whose names match. A ticker that no longer exists says Ticker not found instead of offering to retry.
