Inbox is where i88 puts the notifications meant for you: alerts that have been triggered and market digests. It belongs to your account, so it appears once you are signed in, and the same feed follows you to every device you use.

Opening Inbox

  • On desktop. The Inbox icon sits in the dock, in the lower group just above Help. A badge on it counts the notifications you have not read yet, and shows 99+ past ninety-nine. Inbox opens as a panel in the same dock as search and Ask AI: pin it beside the page or leave it floating.
  • On a phone. Open the menu: Inbox is listed under About, with the unread count next to it.
  • As a full page. In the account menu at the bottom of the navigation rail, Settings → Inbox opens the same feed on a page of its own. On a phone, open the menu, tap your name and choose Inbox.

Reading the feed

The newest notification is at the top. Each row shows a title, set in bold while it is unread, a short preview and how long ago it arrived: now, 5m, 3h, 2d, then the date. Hover the time to see the full date and time. Scroll down and older notifications load as you go. When something new arrives while you are working elsewhere, a short message such as New notification: … appears with an Open button. If several arrive within a few seconds, one message counts them, such as 3 new notifications. The message is not shown while Inbox is open or while the i88 tab is in the background.

Acting on a notification

  • Open it. Click a row to mark it read and go where it points. A digest opens in full inside the panel, and the back arrow beside Inbox at the top, or Esc, returns you to the list. A notification about a ticker opens its ticker page; one that belongs to a conversation opens it in Ask AI on desktop; a link to another page of i88 opens in place, and a link to another site opens in a new tab. A row that points nowhere stays put; use the dot to mark it read.
  • Read or unread. The dot at the start of an unread row marks it read. On a read row, hover the start of the row to bring the dot back and mark it unread, so you can keep it in view for later. On touch screens the dot is always shown.
  • Read all. Read all at the top marks the whole feed read at once. It is unavailable when there is nothing unread.
  • Delete. The bin icon appears when you hover or focus a row, and is always shown on touch screens. A deleted notification can be brought back with Undo for five seconds.

An empty Inbox

Until something has been sent to you, Inbox says No notifications yet: triggered alerts and market digests will show up here.
Creating alerts and scheduled digests from the interface is coming soon. In a watchlist menu, Add alert is already listed and marked Soon.
  • Watchlist — your own lists of tickers
  • Ask AI — the assistant in the same dock
  • Sign In — creating an account and signing in
